Terms
Terms of use.
The short version: the suite is provided as-is, no warranty, use it at your own risk in production accounts. The longer version is below.

The site
langton.tools is informational. Browsing the site does not create any agreement between you and Langton Tools beyond what's stated here. The content is original work by Alex Langton; you may quote and link freely with attribution. Wholesale republishing of blog posts, marketing copy, or tool descriptions is not permitted without explicit permission.
The extensions
The extensions are open source. The current license terms are "TBD — pending public launch" — see the repository LICENSE for the canonical answer. Once a license is set, it will be applied retroactively to all prior releases.
Until then, in practical terms: you may install, run, and modify the extensions for personal and commercial use. You may not re-host or repackage them under a different name without attribution. If you ship a fork, please note that it's a fork.
No warranty
The extensions are provided as-is. They are built and tested by one practitioner running real B2B accounts; they are not enterprise software with an SLA. They may have bugs. They may produce wrong outputs. They may break when Google Ads, Merchant Center, or the underlying APIs change.
Verify outputs before acting on them. A bulk negative-keyword export, a feed-validation report, or a campaign hierarchy proposal is a starting point, not the end of the decision. The "Honest output" rule (numbers come with units, partial data is flagged, AI confidence is surfaced) is meant to help you trust the tools — not to remove the practitioner from the loop.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Langton Tools and Alex Langton are not liable for any damages arising from use of the extensions or this website — including lost ad spend, missed targets, broken campaigns, account suspensions, or data loss. Run the tools in a sandbox or test account first. Read the source if you're unsure what a tool will do.
Anthropic API usage
The AI-enabled tools call api.anthropic.com with the API key you configure. You are responsible for the cost of those API calls and for adhering to Anthropic's terms of service. Langton Tools does not proxy, rate-limit, or otherwise touch your AI usage.
Chrome Web Store
When the extensions ship to the Chrome Web Store, the additional terms in each listing also apply. Until then, all installation is via developer mode from the public GitHub repository.
Changes
These terms may change as the project matures. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page; minor wording cleanups will not. The "Last updated" date above tracks all edits.
