SKU Mapper for fluid power

Shopping coverage and revenue exposure mapper, applied to fluid power & hydraulics.

A hydraulic distributor has 5,000+ SKUs but ads running on only 3,200. The missing 1,800 SKUs are invisible in standard account reports — no impressions, no clicks, no revenue attribution, but they are selling offline. SKU Mapper compares your sitemap or product catalog against your running Shopping ads and surfaces which products have zero ad coverage, then quantifies the revenue exposure. For distributors, this is often 10-15% of total revenue sitting unadverted. The missing-coverage flagging with revenue ranking is the key: instead of 'you have 1,800 uncovered SKUs' (overwhelming), SKU Mapper says 'your top 50 uncovered SKUs are driving $30K/month offline revenue — prioritize those for ads first'. The wasted-spend flagging (SKUs running ads with zero inventory) prevents the opposite problem: an old SKU that went out-of-stock but ads are still running. Recommendation: run SKU Mapper monthly to keep coverage current. When it surfaces uncovered SKUs in the top-50 revenue bucket, hand that list to SKU Hierarchy Builder to determine whether those products need new ad groups or exist in existing groups. Use the revenue-exposure number in client conversations to justify feed expansion — if you have $30K in uncovered revenue opportunity, that usually justifies 3-4 weeks of product-page optimization work.

About SKU Mapper

Compares the SKUs on your site to the SKUs running ads. Surfaces which products have no ad coverage and quantifies the revenue exposure — so the prioritization conversation with the eCom team starts with a number, not a feeling.

About fluid power

Fluid power buyers split into two distinct tracks: OEM design engineers selecting components for new equipment, and MRO maintenance buyers replacing failed parts. Both speak in part numbers, pressure ratings, and ISO standards — but they convert on entirely different campaigns.
